About Creative Pioneering and Hannah Burr

Hannah Burr, Principal of Creative Pioneering

Hannah Burr has been principal of Creative Pioneering since 2007. She's been a professional artist since 1996. In tandem, she has worked as a mediator, designer, teacher and group leader. She's worked one on one with inventors, philosophers, and creative pioneers of many stripes. She is a cum laude graduate of Brown University.

Throughout her life she has lived and worked from the conviction that each individual is a universe of distinct and unparalleled possibility. As an artist, she sees her work, and each project as a kind of diplomat from her own personal universe, brought forth to join creative conversations that keep us evolving and refining our world and daily experience. Much of her creative and professional work has focused on the act of translation, among media, from individual to individual, and from the spark of inspiration and possibility to solid, present reality.

As an artist, Hannah is represented by Judy Goldman Fine Art, has received a MacDowell Colony fellowship, a Mass Cultural Council Grant, and last February, developed a project at the Drawing Center in New York. Her studio is in Boston Massachusetts. She has sold over a hundred paintings and drawings in the past decade.

After working as an envisioner for a venture-backed biotech startup in 2006, experiencing the best and worst of a round artist's sensibility stuffed into the secure square of an office cubicle, she asked herself: How can I know my own personal mission, and live and prosper from it? What unfolded is coaching services for the Creative Pioneer: Hannah's offering to you. Hannah listens deeply and holds a dynamic space for her clients. In that space, with Hannah as a sounding board and a guide each client may ask: What is my core priority today? How can I get to it, live, work and breathe it? How can this project be a true success as I define it here? How can I do what I love, serve others and really prosper at the same time?

It's time we had some company asking such personal, catalytic questions, peering forward into the sometimes foggy and overwhelming horizon of what could be. Hannah offers secure, creative space and time to help you make out vague shapes, bring them into focus, and pick your own path, at your own pace, to step with certainty toward your fullest, most satisfying life, work, and way of being at ease in the world.
